How we’ll work together
I won’t waste your time. I only take on work where I know I can add value. Let’s start with a chat and make sure we’re a good fit.
If we are, we’ll get straight on with developing a plan to fit the challenges you’re facing, your most pressing needs and your budget.
What you won’t get from me
- A man in a suit (unless we’re meeting at court).
- A load of off-the-peg management consultancy tools. (They’re expensive and they don’t always capture the nuance and context of individual situations.)
- Someone who lands and expands for their own benefit.
- Someone who talks the talk but has never done the thing.
Instead, you can expect…
… strategic oversight with attention to detail, from someone who knows the sector inside out and really cares about the people you serve.
One to one
I provide leadership advice, troubleshooting and support – managing big things like disputes, crises or mergers – acting as a mentor, advisor, sounding board and critical friend.
Facing a crisis? I’ll be there for you 24 hours a day if that’s what you need.
Teams
I work with groups – usually boards and senior executives – to help them become self-aware and find new ways to collaborate and build a shared strategy.
Bring me a roomful of colleagues at loggerheads and I’ll show you people who haven’t yet found their common purpose.
Organisations
Send me the tangled web of your governance and I will make sense of it.
I will audit your governance, finance, quality, safety and staff or user experience to assess performance and then develop and test improvements.
Then I’ll help you develop a strategy and move your people from a place of resistance to embracing change by reconnecting with their values.
Partnership working
I deliver projects that tackle inequalities across systems and geographical areas by bringing together multiple agencies, communities and service users across wide areas.
This involves unearthing data, assessing provision and unmet need and convening partners – building momentum and injecting rocket fuel where it’s needed.
